Configuration Control Engineer

Get SAT leads the market in micronized satellite terminals with our best-in-class, flat-panel SWaP technology. We are seeking a Configuration Control Engineer to serve as a key focal point, bridging the gap between R&D, Operations, and Manufacturing. In this role, you will ensure the integrity and smooth transition of our multi-disciplinary products throughout their entire lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • • Change Management: Control and implementation of engineering change processes, including ECO and ECR.
  • • Lifecycle Management: Manage product lifecycles from early development stages through high-volume production until End of Life (EOL).
  • • NPI Leadership: Escort NPI (New Product Introduction) projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure manufacturing plans meet the product’s strategic goals.
  • • PLM Strategy: Characterize and define requirements for the PLM system for configuration control purposes.
  • • Process Characterization: Lead the characterization and optimization of configuration control processes within the organization.
  • • Engineering Support: Provide assistance and support to mechanical and electronic design engineers regarding engineering information management and workflow processes.

Requirements:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • • Proven experience in configuration management within a multi-disciplinary hardware environment.
  • • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLM (Product Data Management) systems and system administration skills.
  • • Standards: Familiarity with ISO 10007 (Quality management — Guidelines for configuration management).
  • • Communication: High level of English (both written and verbal) for technical documentation and interface management.
