Sling Blade SOLO LM Ka

Low profile Ka band terminal

Sling Blade SOLO LM (land and maritime) Ka is a flat panel terminal with a fully
electronically steerable antenna, providing reliable communication in demanding
environments. The phased array architecture operates with no moving parts. No
calibration is required, which ensures long term reliability and lower maintenance
costs.

The terminal supports transmit and receive for LEO satellite worldwide networks.
In addition, Sling Blade SOLO LM Ka supports regional GEO & MEO services for
Ka band, allowing flexible operation across multiple Ka band coverage areas.
It enables fast switching from LEO to GEO or MEO satellites and delivers
seamless satellite coverage anywhere and anytime.

Sling Blade SOLO LM Ka is ideal for all on the move scenarios including land and
maritime environments, oil and gas operations, commercial applications, civil
infrastructure, enterprise networks, trucks, and trains.

Sling Blade SOLO LM Ka is modem agnostic and supports the use of any
external modem, including connections to regional GEO networks, giving
operators flexibility in network selection and system configuration.

Key Features

Multi-orbit-constellations

Multi orbit constellations

A simple and intuitive solution that provides
multi-orbit SATCOM services, with the ability
to blend and transfer network traffic
seamlessly between high-capacity LEO (in KU
only), MEO (in Ka only), and GEO satellite
constellations.

All-in-one-solution

All In One Solution

Integrated terminals include everything needed
for operation: modem, Antenna Management Unit
(AMU), tracking sensors, downconverter, and a full
RF front end.

No-moving-parts

No moving parts

Since there are no moving parts, calibration
is not required therefore providing
long-term reliability and lower maintenance
costs.

Short-transition-time

Short transition time

Extremely short transition time.
The significance of fiber-like connectivity
is a major step forward for high-data-rate
applications requiring communications
mobility.

worldwide-satellite-networks

worldwide satellite networks

Supports Global coverage networks, like
Intelsat in GEO, and other LEO networks, for near
seamless satellite coverage anywhere,
anytime.

Easy- set-up-and-operation

Easy set-up and operation

The easy installation and integration of
the terminals, allows operators to
complete the process without the need
for time-consuming and costly visits of
technicians.
