Get SAT is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our winning team.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design from concept formation through simulations to prototype assembly and integration.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing professionals.
- Utilize advanced simulations and analysis tools to optimize mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with stringent performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Plan and execute validation and verification tests to validate design functionality and performance.
- Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and implement design enhancements to optimize product performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering – a must.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design within a multi-disciplinary environment – a must.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in various manufacturing technologies – must.
- Experience with mass production and design-to-cost practices – an advantage.
- Previous involvement in developing avionics and equipment for aviation use – an advantage.
- Familiarity with demanding standards such as AS9100, MIL-STD-810, and DO-160 – an advantage.
- Experience with Heat Transfer systems – an advantage.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills – a must.
